oh ya... ytd went over the singapore for the Hunting For Comics!!!
Cos of the BD e-learning assignment, we have to do competitors analysis on our competitors.... so we chose Tenchi, Cozy Canopy & Bongout....These are places where they also sells comics...
1st, we (me, trina, huijuan, xianghua...as for weijie, he overslept le so absent & he promised to treat us drinks bt dunno real or nt...haha) went to Cozy Canopy which is located at Stamford Road.... This place is still not difficult to find.... When we saw that shop, it's kinda small & have so few comics nia....chey, i thought there's alot wor... The shop owner say their main product is movies not comics... we didnt really went in there cos admission fee is $10 for 3hrs....
2nd, we headed to Robertson Quay which is where we oso dunno lah..so we asked the mrt personel....then he sae is at River valley bah...then we took the bus to Clarke Quay... then when we reached there, we ask the tourist guide ppl...*pretend we are tourists...haha=P* but still, it's so difficult to find that Robertson Quay where Bongout is located at... we walked up & down, cross the bridges, the roads, the underpass.... And Finally, we reached Robertson Quay... And we found that"oulu oulu" Bongout le...And it's also small....then the comics (although there's many) are all in Jap...the books & magazines too.... The food are also Jap food & SUPER EXPENSIVE sia....Of cos, we didnt eat there lah...
3rd, after that tiring journey, we found a cafe to rest our feet & enjoy our lunch.... the buffet was so cheap lor... onli $5.50 (actually is $6.90 cos we are students mah...) Then after the full meal, we continued our journey to our next destination -- Tenchi at Ang Mo Kio Cos xianghua's stomach abit pain as she ate too full...so we took bus there which took us 45min... Then reached there, we went up to 3rd floor...Here we are in Tenchi... And it's really Big wor!!! There's so many comics....omg! Then after we collected the info, we started to browse the comics... everyone of us was so engrossed in the world of comics....hahaha=) There's really so many variety of comics...How i wish all the books are mine... wahahaha.. dreaming jiu you... And that's the end of our long journey....
Among these 3 shops, we enjoyed the most in is definitely Tenchi....although the environment is not as cosy as the Cozy Canopy, there's no delicious food like Bongout, but Tenchi has the main thing we are looking for --- Comics!!
